CSI NY Season 5

Season 5 of the series was premiered on September 24, 2008. This season of the series is supposed to have nineteen episodes, but till date only twelve episodes have been aired. The fifth season started from where the fourth season had ended. In the first episode of the season we find the team investigating the death of a woman named Lauren Salinas, whose death is linked to the bank robbery. After the investigations the team comes to know that Lauren was a friend of Flack’s sister, Samantha. Though Mac managed to escape from the hands of the robber, but there are others who are being killed. In order to stop the killings the team must quickly find the robber before he is able to get away with many more killings. In the next episode of the series, after a number of deaths start taking place in the New York City Library. The team tries to find out the reason behind the same and they soon find out that its some poisonous radiations that are causing the deaths and if they are unable to solve that soon, this will lead to a huge number of deaths. In the next episode, when an Air Marshal turns up dead on a flight, it is revealed that he was a fake Marshal and that the real Marshal was killed long time back and that the killer stole his ID and was using it. On the other hand, Stella prepares for a baseball game, of which the whole CSI team will be a part. The team will have to face the team of firefighters. But the problem is that one of the members of the other team is very good friends with Stella. In the next episode of the series, the team gets to investigate the death of a woman named Ann Steele. In order to solve her case, the team must look for a life size silicone doll. When the team reaches the place that makes them, they are surprised and in turn their investigation brings some amusement for the whole team. In the next episode, the team must investigate the death of an archaeologist. The team thinks that his secret life could be one of the reasons for his murder. In the next episode, the team must deal with the deaths of three drug dealers, whose trial was about to start when they are found dead at three different places. As the things turns out that they were planning to kill their witnesses, but it seems that someone else got hold of them before they could. In the next episode of the series, the team gets to know certain secrets in a floating house which if some one else comes to know about, could create problems for everyone. In the next episode of the series, that is also the 100th episode of the series, CSI gets a new case.

The murderer is determined to kill all the people with the name “Mac Taylor”, CSI team must work against the time, if they have to save all others with the same name. Will the team be successful in finding the killer, before he kills another one? In the next episode of the series, an unidentified body is found inside a crushed car. In order to know the identity of the victim, the team must extract the bones of the victim and then start their search for the killer. On the other hand, Lindsay tells Danny that she is pregnant. In the next episode of the series, on the one hand, Lindsay and Danny are wondering what the future of their relationship would be like and on the other hand the team is given a case to solve when an armor truck is found broken into and a guard is found dead. The team finds a difficulty in solving the case when they are hampered by a strange energy field that they have to face at the time of incident. In the next episode of the series, a murder has taken place at the Christmas dinner. But this is no ordinary dinner; it is one that involves “mouse brains” and “cod liver oil”, instead of Christmas turkey and cakes. On the other hand, they find a girl who is so lonely, that she could go to any extent in order to get a company on the Christmas day. In the next episode, a team gets to work when a woman’s dead body is found at a wedding dress sale. After her body is taken for investigation, team connects her murder to the rape and murder of a subway performer found dead in her bathtub. But Hawkes and Mac fight with each other saying that it is a case involving a serial rapist.

The next episode of the series is named “Rush to Judgment” and will air on January 21, 2009.
