Stella’s Character- Stella Bonasera is Mac Taylor’s second in command and right-hand woman in the New York Police Department’s crime lab. Previously she was a patrol officer and also has worked for Narcotics. She had an unstable boyfriend Frankie Mala who secretly taped their intimate moments and put that on internet, after discovering this she breaks up with him and consequently he breaks into her apartment and captivates her there and this forces Stella to kill him. She is also close to Mac Taylor and Taylor too says that he can’t work without her. Due to this closeness once she was assumed as Mac’s dead wife Claire by Clair’s son from previous relationship before meeting Mac. During many episodes she is doubtful about being HIV Positive and this doubt was used on CBS as part of Public Service campaign. But later on she finds out that she is HIV Negative.

Personal Life- She did her high school study from Akron and attended Ohio State University for a short while, but later on she shifted to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and got a bachelor degree in Theatre arts in 1989. she is married to Peter Constantinides since September 6, 1992. he is fromer restaurant consultant and owns one in Powell, Ohio. They have two daughters.

Career- She is a Greek-American actress. Her very first role in Guiding Light, as Eleni brought an Emmy nomination for her. She joined the show in 1991. Her most popular role is said to be in Prividence, TV show as Dr. Sydney Hansen. It remained on screen for five seasons until 2002. in 2004 she joined CSI-NY as Stella. Her other TV roles include NYPD Blue, Northern Exposure, Due South, OZ, The Practice and many more. She has also appeared in movies, The Long Kiss Goodnight and 15 Minutes. She was considered for the role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, but couldn’t grab the opportunity due to her pregnancy
