Sheldon’s Character- Sheldon is third grade detective in CSI. He is medical examiner. Previously he was a surgeon but after losing two patients on operation table he was on odds with his boss and eventually he quitted surgery moved from Autopsy room into the field. He is like a pacifier, as he listens to everybody whoever is depressed and he comforts them. Once he gets into trouble due to this trait. He meets a girl at a party and she is very upset and moves to him to share her thing and he gives her his phone number if she again feels depressed, she can speak to him. After a few weeks, she is found dead with his phone number is in her pocket. Mac doubts upon him and he tells him the truth and develops a better relation with him. Once, a killer Shane Casey blames him for involvement in a robbery-homicide in front of team because in the past his testimony had proved Shane a culprit. But team succeeds in proving him innocent.

Personal Life- He is son of a Psychiatrist. He is acting since the age of 7. he is graduate from Harvard University. During that period he became full time member of Boston’s Black Folks Theatre Company. He is good friend to Barack Obama, the hopeful president. In 2008 he participated in Yes We Can, a music video supporting Obama. He is also a member of Obama For America National Finance Committee.
Career- He did debut in both television and movies in the same year in 1993. His first TV role was in Married…With Children, and first movie role was in Confessions of a Dog. But his first worthy role was in 1996 in Get On the Bus. Later in 1997 and 1998 he worked in Hav Plenty and He Got Game. Until 2000 he has worked in several movies. Finally he got this role of Sheldon in CSI-NY. He is also an author of two books, Letters to a Young Brother, published in 2006 and Letters To a Young Sister: Define Your Destiny in 2008.
