Its Celebration Time For CSI: NY………..!!!
Guess what’s up guy! Well, CSI: NY has completed its 100th episode on the 19th of November. Besides telecasting the episode My Name is Mac Taylor, the team has found another unique way of celebrating this happy occasion. The team will be doing a conference call with the press on the night of 19th November. When the series premiered in 2004 it was referred to as the step-child in of the admired crime show CSI. However after remaining on air for 4 years and completing five seasons, it has gained an identity of its own. CSI: NY went on to prove its worth, when the rerun rights of the show were grabbed by Spike TV for a whooping $1.9 million for each episode just two months before the premiere of the show. For those of you who don’t know, at that time it was the largest syndication sale that had taken place till them. Now that sounds really interesting………….isn’t it?
In the first season of the series, the look of the show was more of a moderate New York, then the present modern-day shining Big Apple. However towards the beginning of the second season the look was entirely changed at the suggestion of the higher ups in the network. There are still five more episodes lined up before this season comes to an end. But don’t worry as there be another season not too far away. With the crime rate going up there are surely going to be many more seasons to look out for. The thrill and the action of each episode have always left me with a thirst for more. I really wish that the excitement of the show never ceases and we get to see a lot more of our favorite show.
‘CSI: NY’, The all new Video game
Fans of the CSI: NY TV series are excited after the official announcement of season 5 and we’ve already exposed the in-depth details of this upcoming season. Today, I do have very, very yummy news to share with you guys.
Ubisoft and CBS Consumer Products have collaborated to release CSI: NY, a video game where you (players) will be able to actually play as the characters of series. Yeah… including Mac Taylor and Stella Bonasera also- the leading characters on series. There will be five spick-and-span cases created by the actual writers of the show. And, the producers are also offering you the following features:
Ability to control Interrogations
Ability to move your fave characters as per your choice
Ability to select mini games from hundreds of available as such code breaking
It’ll be very user-friendly and will feature a moody graphic novel art style.
It’ll be the first game release in CSI franchise and will be launched for PC in the end of 2008. CSI: NY is the most successful crime series on CBS and it averages 11.7 million viewers per week. Wow! Just imagine, how much pleasing it’d be when you’ll have an access to investigate the crimes and to find out who the murderer is? Get ready to be Cops and to unravel the mysteries in the streets of New York, more brilliantly than the Mac himself.

CSI: NY- Let me to expose the season 5!
If you’re eager to watch season 5 of CSI: NY, then, say thanks to me as I’m gonna tell you the summaries of upcoming episodes of series. Okay, let’s begin with the season opener, set to air on September 24, 08. It’s entitled ‘Veritas’ and it will pick up the things where they were left off by the season 4 finale ‘Hostage’. We’ll see the CSI: NY team investigating the death of a woman named Lauren Santana. Mac finds himself in a deluged car and he has no memory how he got there. Well, I think series’ season 5 will add more stuff to plot and it’d not be surprising if they introduce some new faces this time.
Second episode of season is entitled ‘Page Turner’ and it will be aired on October 1, 08. Radiation poisoning causes a series of death and the CSI experts are in a race against time to solve the situation. Other episodes scheduled to air this season are:
‘Turbulence’ will be aired on October 8, 08. Next episode is ‘Sex, Lies and Silicone’. Following is the episode ‘The Cost of Living’. Then, will be the ‘Cuts’. Next episode is ‘Dead Inside’ and ‘My Name is Mac Taylor’.
Above is what I know about CSI: NY season 5 yet. Series will complete its 100 episodes and most probably we’ll have 22 episodes this time. Some of these episodes are available here, just go and see. Well, I am a fan of CSI franchise, but CSI: NY is my favorite show among CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY and CSI: Miami. So, its’ a little hard to wait more for new episodes of series!
Will Gary Sinise leave the CSI?
Hold your heart, this is not the confirmed thing. I just heard some rumors that probably Gary Sinise will leave CSI-NY to work in other major projects. I can just pray that all the rumors end up as false. There are the reports from CSI-NY sets that Gary Sinise will stay with the show up to three episodes and then will move away for a summer break. Besides this he also remains busy with his Lt. Dan band. He does many concerts and is busy in making rocking nights for his fans. Well I hope eventually after a summer break he will be back on the show. But it is also heard that he is busy with signing other shows too. No wonder who doesn’t want to succeed and wonderful actor like him deserves to go higher.
There is another enchanting thing about coming season of CSI-NY. Do you know rapper Nelly o popular album Nellyville. Off course you know him. He will be in CSI for a few episodes not as a rapper but as an actor. He will play an informant for CSI who is a club owner. It is heard that he will make his cameo in the second episode of fifth season.
Okay, at last after a bad rumor here is something good about the coming season. But the exit of Gary will be really devastating for his fans and off course for me as well. I am also a huge fan of his character in CSI. Can you imagine CSI team without Mac Taylor? At least I can’t. He is the life of the show and if CSI creators are smart then they will get hold on him and will convince him to stay for longer on the show.
Anyways previews say that the upcoming season of CSI-NY will be rocking and it’s not far away now. So let’s hope for the best in the coming season whether it carries new entries or departures.

Season Five is about to arrive
Good news for all the CSI freaks. It was in May of this year when CSI-NY took a break from silver screen and got indulged in the making of fifth season. Now the time to welcome the new season is closer. It’s coming to rock the screen on September 24. Cool news right?
I have heard the rumors like the new season is gonna knock down all the previous seasons. There are anticipations that the fifth season will score highest ratings in comparison with the previous seasons. In the last season there were friction in the relationship of Danny and Lindsay, and it is expected that they will be again seen cuddling together in the coming season. In the previous season, Mac’s past was also explored and it was depicted like a brave person does falls as a coward somewhere, and experience brings out the perfection.
Genuinely, I found CSI-NY as much better than the previous CSI series like CSI-Crime Scene Investigation and CSI-Miami. In CSI-Miami and Original CSI there were many similarities among the stories and it seemed that they have just fragmented and made a little change to the old stories to create a spin off. But CSI-NY seemed like more creative than the original series. The episodes carried a sort of freshness in them and no single episode matches with the other. This was the special feature of CSI-NY. The CSI has shaken the New York streets with unheard crime cases in the series.
Have you checked out the episode Time’s Out from Season four? In this episode a scientist invents a time machine and he is genius at mathematics, so he predicts a murder 24 hours in advance. It is discovered that his genius ness is due to a needle in his head which got into accidentally, when he was an infant. This was an amazing story, although resembles some old movies but still was presented in a distinct way.
Besides this previous seasons too had a novelty factor. Do you know most of the episodes of CSI-NY got highest ratings in comparison to the previous CSI-Series? That’s why I am expecting the fifth season to be extra thrilling.
What’s up on the season five?
No need to say that CSI is such a wonderful series that it first turned up to spin offs as Miami and New York and all the series are in huge demand and that’s why the creators have to do the hard work for bringing more and more seasons. CSI- New York is most happening among all the CSI series. I am glad that it is in continuity with fifth season planned to hit the screens in September.
I am trying hard for many days to get some chunks of the upcoming season but it was of no use until I reached tv.com to find the reviews of CSI-NY. Here I got some brief bits of upcoming episodes and after reading these I can say that I am extra curious for the fifth season, as in the very second episode you will encounter a strange kind of serial killer which we have never heard or seen before. I don’t know where do they guys get the idea; just can say hats off for the writers of CSI.
The second episode of fifth season will be ‘Page Turner’. Here is a serial killer who is crazy about graffiti art, you know the guys who make inscription on hard rocks. But this mad artist uses female bodies for his thirst of art, and inscribes his creatures on their bodies resulting in their deaths. How cruel it is. But this is what the motive of CSI is to make you hate the crime and criminals and they achieve their prospect in sound manner.
The season begins with ‘Veritas’ in which the old story of season four finales will carry on. Danny and Stella would be seen cuddling and working together as they have made out their relationship once again.
Among the rest of the episodes ‘Sex Lies and Silicon’ episode is most interesting. In this episode while investigating murder of a woman, CSI has to find a full size Silicon Doll and Eventually Hawkes college friend is found involved in the murder and he asks Hawkes for some compromise about evidence in the case. Now I don’t know Hawkes did that or not, for that we will have to wait for the telecast of this episode.
A little about CSI NY
CSI: NY is an American Police Procedural TV series and is the third edition of the CSI franchise. Series is about forensic investigators who use cutting edge scientific methods to find out the evidence in order to solve crime in the Big Apple, a gritty and kinetic city which never sleeps. Det. Mack ‘Mac‘ Taylor is a dedicated and an intelligent crime scene investigator. He believes that things are inter-connected and there’s a story behind every personality. Det. Stella Bonasera, his partner is a jack of all the trades. They both lead a team of experts and the members of this team are- Dranny Messer, a Brooklyn born investigator with tough good looks; and Dr. Sheldon Hawkes, a reclusive medical examiner who walked off from surgical career after the traumatic death of his patients; Detective Don Flack is a hardcore investigator with an impressive forensic insight; and Aiden Burn, a sexy investigator who has enough capability to adapt to any situation.
September 22, 2004 and is currently running with season 5 and it’ll have 24 episodes. All events are set in present day New York and all the investigators are set to solve mysteries, unusual deaths, rape, and terrorism etc.
